MARCH 2012 - Journey to the Heart of Peacemaking

Compassionate Listening Delegation
Israel and Palestine
March 18 - March 28, 2012
Optional Extension Tour of Northern Israel: March 29, 30 and 31, 2012

Join Compassionate Listening Project Middle East Program coordinator/facilitator Yael Petretti and an intimate group of international participants for an unforgettable immersion into the heart of peacemaking.

Practice the art of listening and speaking from the heart - peacemaking skills that will serve you in all aspects of your life: in your family, community, workplace, and beyond. Begin with Compassionate Listening training near the ancient Old City of Jerusalem, and practice with Israelis and Palestinians from all sides of the conflict in Israel and the West Bank. Our time is divided between training, listening sessions, and touring. Visit well-known and off-the-beaten-track ancient sites. Listening sessions take place in homes, offices, villages, refugee camps, settlements, and cities. Participants will have a full day and a half of Compassionate Listening training at the beginning of the trip.
